Houston, TX, October 27, 2009 – Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced $4.5 million in Series A and Convertible Note funding. The new funds will be used to complete the company's ongoing Phase I/IIa trial of BP-GMAX-CD1 in patients with advanced, androgen independent prostate cancer, and to prepare for Phase IIb trials. The company anticipates reporting initial results of the Phase I/IIa trial in mid 2010.

Houston, TX, August 6, 2009 – Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced dosing
of the first patient in a Phase I/II clinical trial of BP-GMAX-CD1, a novel
pharmacologically regulated dendritic cell vaccine for the treatment of prostate cancer.
The disease-specific trial is being conducted under a Bellicum Investigational New Drug
application allowed by the FDA in 2008. The company anticipates reporting initial results
of the study in 2010.

Houston, TX, October 9, 2007 – Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced it
was awarded $1.45 Million by the State of Texas’ Emerging Technology Fund.
Additionally, the company announced seed financing of $2.3 million. The combined
investment will be used for development of the company’s lead product candidate,
BP-GMAX-CD1 for patients with advanced, androgen independent prostate cancer.
The financing will allow the completion of preclinical development and initiation of
a Phase 1/2 clinical trial.

LICENSING OF ARIAD’S ARGENT™ CELL-SIGNALING REGULATION
TECHNOLOGY FOR DEVELOPMENT OF NEW CANCER THERAPIES

 

Houston, TX, October 11, 2006 – Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has announced a
non-exclusive, royalty-bearing licensing agreement with ARIAD Pharmaceuticals
Inc. (Nasdaq:ARIA) for its ARGENT™ cell-signaling regulation technology.
ARIAD will have an equity stake in Bellicum and will receive additional payments.
Bellicum also may be granted exclusive licenses in certain product applications
based on its achievement of development, regulatory and commercial milestones.
The Bellicum product candidates will use ARIAD’s small molecule dimerizer drug,
AP1903, which already has successfully completed a Phase 1 clinical trial.
